There are so many reasons why the York campus is a great place to begin your Penn State education through the 2 + 2 program.
Small Class Sizes
The average class size at Penn State York is fifteen students. The student/faculty ratio is 14:1. At the York campus, you will receive the individual attention and mentoring that you need to help you succeed academically.
As a Graham Fellow, you will have an opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, including mock interviews, résumé reviews, and professional presence and dining etiquette training, The Graham Speaker Series, networking events, and opportunities for internships. We are very excited about our newest building project on campus, The Graham Center for Innovation and Collaboration, scheduled to open in 2020!
Free Advising and Career Services
Take advantage of free services such as career assessments and planning tools through MyPlan.com, résumé/cover letter reviews, job and internship search assistance, invitations to networking events and career fairs, mock (practice) interview sessions, and access to the Nittany Lion Careers, Penn State’s primary resource for connecting students with employers.
Free Academic Support Services at the Nittany Success Center
The Nittany Success Center provides resources to help you improve your study skills in the areas of note-taking, time management, and test-taking strategies.
The $13.5 Million Renovation and Addition to the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center
In 2016, our athletic, recreation, student club and food service spaces were enhanced and updated, and teaching spaces were revitalized for an entirely new learning and connection experience for our students!
