Tickets are on sale now for Penn State York Benefiting THON’s "Paw Search," which is set for 7 p.m. on Jan. 20, in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) on campus. Proceeds from the talent show go to the campus THON committee's effort to raise money to find a cure for pediatric cancer through the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon.

Penn State York Benefiting THON to host American Red Cross blood drive

Penn State York Benefiting THON is partnering with the American Red Cross for a THON Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25 at Penn State York. The blood drive, in the Community Room of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center, is open to the public. The American Red Cross will make a monetary donation to THON for each unit donated.

This is the final opportunity to do a live audition for the show, which is schedule for Friday evening, Jan. 20, in The Pullo Center.

Hundreds of toys collected at Penn State York

Snoopy, dinosaurs, Ninja Turtles, Barbies, aircraft, and a variety of stuffed animals were gathered at Penn State York during the Toys for Tots campaign sponsored by the Student Veterans of America (SVA), York Chapter at the campus. Hundreds of new, unopened, and unwrapped toys were collected through Dec. 9, and then turned over to the First Capital Marine Corps League Toys for Tots program.

The theme of this semester’s Late-night Breakfast, which will be held from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Dec. 12 at Rosie’s in the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center, is '90s cartoons and Disney.
