Penn State York students head to the windy city to compete in the 2022 Future Business Leaders of America – Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBLA) national competition in Chicago, Illinois, June 24-27.
A new look and feel will greet visitors to Penn State’s Commonwealth Campus websites beginning June 21. The refreshed websites, which apply to each of the University’s Commonwealth Campuses, are the result of in-depth research on user needs and best practices, resulting in modern, mobile-friendly and engaging sites that highlight the power of Penn State’s campus communities.
The University Staff Advisory Council (USAC) has selected Jane Pflaum, Sherri Gilliland and Maria Pilar M. Kim as the respective recipients of its annual Staff Leadership Award, Staff Excellence Award and Staff Morale Award. The three winners were honored at a reception at Old Main with President Neeli Bendapudi.
"Hate Crimes" will be the topic of a free presentation featuring Stacey Waters, an education and outreach coordinator with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission. The lecture is set for 4:30 p.m. June 15 via Zoom.
The Penn State Board of Trustees will hold its next public meeting on July 21-22 at Penn State York. Committee meetings and the meeting of the full board will be available via livestream.

Pathways to Your Future: Exploring STEAM Careers celebrates its 25th anniversary on Friday, May 13, at Penn State York. This career awareness program encourages participants to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, art and mathematics.
Penn State York celebrated spring commencement on Friday, May 6, with students receiving associate and baccalaureate degrees. The class of 2022 consisted of 54 students.
