Parrish Petry Night is set for Friday, Dec. 6, when Penn State York honors Parrish Petry, the recently retired head men's basketball coach. In addition to honoring Petry, the 2019 Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) banner will be unveiled. Petry, on the far left holding a Nittany Lion statue, lead the York team to four PSUAC championships in his more than tean years as head coach.

Penn State York men's basketball, the No. 2 seed in the East, took down No. 1 seed Penn State Wilkes-Barre, 57-56, in overtime to win its fourth Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) championship at the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park on Feb. 24.

Trent Thomas, No. 10, earned All-PSUAC first team honors for his outstanding play during the 2016-17 men's basketball season. Parrish Petry, head men's basketball coach, called Thomas a scoring machine. His fierce play throughout the season contributed to the team's 15-1 conference record.
