Ask Hannah Bartkowski, a Penn State York student and semi-Sherlock Holmes expert, and she will tell you that he never really spoke those words. Bartkowski will share that factoid, and many others, during the International Sherlock Holmes Celebration on March 21 in the campus' Lee R. Glatfelter Library.

Embracing Equity will be the topic when Gisele Barreto Fetterman, an advocate for access and equality, shares her story during a presentation at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 26, at Penn State York. The program, which will be held in the conference center of the Main Classroom Building, is free and open to the public.
There’s a lengthy list of competitors from David Christiansen, Penn State York’s chancellor, to members of the faculty, staff and administration ready to take on Pi Day and participate in a pie-eating contest. The campus will celebrate all things Pi, and pie, on March 14 when Penn State York hosts its third annual campus-wide Pi Day with an event from noon-1:30 p.m. in the conference center of the Main Classroom Building.
Penn State York contributed $41.1 million to the Pennsylvania economy in FY 2017, and supported, directly and indirectly, 536 Pennsylvania jobs. A new study, released Feb. 26 by Penn State, focused on measuring the University’s impact in communities across the Commonwealth.
Penn State York men's basketball, the No. 2 seed in the East, took down No. 1 seed Penn State Wilkes-Barre, 57-56, in overtime to win its fourth Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC) championship at the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park on Feb. 24.
Penn State York will host the 36th annual York County Science and Engineering Fair from March 4-6 in the Conference Center of the Main Classroom Building. More than 200 projects will be judged during the event. Projects will be open for public view from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6.
