Penn State York is bringing back its drive-in outdoor movie for the first time since the pandemic. As is pictured here from a previous year, the parking lot behind the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) on campus will be transformed into a drive-in movie venue with a huge inflatable big screen. Moviegoers can stay in their cars or bring chairs and blankets to sit outside and enjoy "Top Gun Maverick" beginning at 7:15 p.m.
In 2019, Penn State police officers hosted in-person events for National Coffee with a Cop Day at campuses across Pennsylvania. This year, University Police will host a virtual event in order to safely stay engaged with the Penn State community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Representatives from Penn State York presented books to students at Edgar Fahs Smith STEAM Academy, which includes students in kindergarten through sixth grade, during a special assembly. Jeff Crawford, a Penn State York student majoring in English and the editor of "Any Other Word,' encourages students to visit the online magazine and also submit works for the Literary Competition and the 11th edition of the online magazine. The submission deadline is Oct. 31.
