Penn State York officially opened the new lion shrine plaza in front of the John J. Romano Administration Building. The building’s exterior had not been updated since the late 1950s and the newly renovated area includes a circular plaza area with seating, a water feature, new landscaping, stonework, and the Nittany lion statue on a pedestal, ready and waiting for those important photo opportunities.
Tyler Knabb of Reading prepares for his 920-mile, eight-day cycling trip to raise funds for the 2014 Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon. He will start his quest Oct. 22, traveling in a heart-shaped route through Pennsylvania that will take him to 11 Penn State campuses.
