Giving Options

Enhance Penn State York’s excellence by giving in a variety of ways – endowments, scholarships, a planned giving program, faculty support or through a number of creative ways to support our campus needs.

An endowment is a permanent “trust” account established by a donor to benefit the University while providing tax benefits to the donor.

The funds from scholarships help students pay for tuition expenses – over 75 percent of our students receive financial aid.

Scholarships help ease the financial burden placed on a student. It means a student may devote more time to studying because they don't have to work a second job. Scholarships help the University by allowing us to attract the best and brightest students who may otherwise be unable to afford a Penn State education.

Planned Giving

Leave a legacy. Programs that provides benefits to you now, and in the future, while benefiting Penn State for generations to come.

Corporations and Foundations

Corporate and foundation contributors often designate funds for programs and activities of interest including scholarships to support students majoring in specific areas of study, faculty or programs that are focused on study and activity related to their product or industry, and support for University/community partnerships.

The Penn State York Advisory Board is composed of a broad cross section of corporate and community leaders. Board members play a key role in helping the campus secure funding from business and industry in the community and beyond.

Program Support

Opportunities exist to enrich academic, social, and cultural aspects of the campus.

Faculty Support
