Penn State York offers two on-campus dining options for students, faculty and staff – Rosie’s and The Bistro.
This newly-renovated space will offer students a restaurant-like feel with a large variety of food options. In addition to Rosie’s, the space will house a new coffee bar called “Cup O’ Joe.” A variety of seating is available for students to eat, study, and relax. The wonderful cooks are always open to suggestions and customizations.
Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Visit Rosie's on the web at www.rosiesyork.com.
The Bistro is a full-service cafe, offering freshly roasted coffee from around the world, lattes, cappuccinos, mochas, tea, chai, and gourmet hot chocolates. For an extra creamy treat, the Coffee Bar offers frozen caramel mochas and other frozen coffee drinks and fruit smoothies. Start your mornings with one of the specialty bagels or muffins. For lunch or dinner, gourmet sandwiches and soups are available.
The Bistro is located in the John T. and Paige S. Smith Atrium which connects the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center to the Lee R. Glatfelter Library. Whether taking a study break at the library or just relaxing with friends, visit The Bistro and choose from the selection of fresh baked goods to munch on while sipping your favorite drink. Food Service Operations
Campus food services are managed and operated by Rosie’s and their friendly staff. All meals are prepared on-site with the freshest ingredients available. Coffee is roasted at The Bistro’s local roasting facility, using the same unique blends and roasts that have been served at the White House and Governor’s Mansion.
The Bistro understands the challenges of student life when it comes to meals and snacks. A diverse but changing menu, flavorful and nutritionally-balanced meals, fast and friendly customer service, and affordable meal options are always taken into account at Rosie’s and The Bistro. Both venues accept cash, credit/debit cards, and Lion Cash. To contact Food Services, call 717-771-4039.
