Four outstanding adult students were inducted into the Penn State York Chapter of Alpha Sigma Lambda during a ceremony on Tuesday, April 18, in Polli Hall of the Graham Center for Innovation and Collaboration on campus.

"Defend Yourself Against Fraud and Cyber" is the topic for an upcoming virtual presentation sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Penn State York. The presentation, via Zoom, is set for 5:30-6:30 p.m. on May 15 and is part of its free lecture series. Participants must register to attend.
Two students from Penn State York took first place at the 12th annual Penn State Eastern Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 22 at the York campus. The event featured 38 projects from across eight campuses.
A new research program for students will be launched this coming fall: The Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses Undergraduate Student Research Fund aims to support student-led projects in different fields. Participants will acquire hands-on experience in research, scholarship, and artistic efforts. They will be responsible for creating their own research problems, study proposals, methodologies, and presenting their findings.
Penn State York will celebrate its annual spring commencement at 6 p.m. Friday, May 5, in the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center. As part of the ceremony, the campus will award its first bachelor of science degree in cybersecurity analytics and operations. State Sen. Kristen Phillips-Hill, Senate District 28, will serve as the commencement speaker.
