"Defend Yourself Against Fraud and Cyber" is the topic for an upcoming virtual presentation sponsored by the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Penn State York. The presentation, via Zoom, is set for 5:30-6:30 p.m. on May 15 and is part of its free lecture series. Participants must register to attend.
Two students from Penn State York took first place at the 12th annual Penn State Eastern Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium on April 22 at the York campus. The event featured 38 projects from across eight campuses.
A new research program for students will be launched this coming fall: The Vice President for Commonwealth Campuses Undergraduate Student Research Fund aims to support student-led projects in different fields. Participants will acquire hands-on experience in research, scholarship, and artistic efforts. They will be responsible for creating their own research problems, study proposals, methodologies, and presenting their findings.
The 2023 Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Accomplishments took place at Penn State York April 11 and featured 29 projects. Four students received awards.
