Maddie Hill is honored and remembered on a plaque that hangs on the wall of the student affairs office at Penn State York. Hill died at age 19 after battling cancer three times, and the photo on the plaque is of her canning for Penn State York Benefiting THON in the fall of 2015. A portion of the plaque reads, "An inspiration to everyone she met, Maddie touched the lives of many. Fearless in her battles with cancer, she fought with spunk and never lost sight of the goal to help find a cure for pediatric cancer. Her work inspires us all to #fightlikehill."
Cassidie Crebs, holding the microphone, a Penn State York student and the chairperson of Penn State York Benefiting THON last year, shares her thoughts about the life of the late Maddie Hill and the inspiration she provides to so many.
