Recently tenured and promoted faculty across the University were honored Oct. 2 through Penn State's 2023 Promotion and Tenure Recognition Program. Each newly tenured or promoted faculty member was asked to select a book title for the University Libraries’ permanent collection, which will be affixed with a bookplate recognizing the faculty member’s achievement.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the women's volleyball team at Penn State York is once again having a "Pink Out' to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation and increase awareness about breast cancer.  The game is set for Thursday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m. when they take on Penn State Brandywine.

Donna Lynch, adjunct lecturer in dance, is the course instructor for Dance 100 at Penn State York set to begin in spring semester.

Dance appreciation (Dance 100) will begin in the spring semester at Penn State York, and room 112 on the lower level of the Joe and Rosie Ruhl Student Community Center will be filled with students interested in learning more about movement and its impact on cultural identity, history and more.

Penn State York student members of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate won first and second-place honors in the national Stock Market Game and outperformed other teams.  Trevor Kasulen, Cody Stambaugh, and Krish Rajendrakumar, first-place winners, left to right, and Polina Bolotnikova, and Nhi Nguyen, second-place winners, left to right, show off their medals with David Christiansen, chancellor of Penn State York.  Katelyn Ottaviano, not pictured, also was a part of the second-place team.
