Zoe Luedtke, a student-athlete at Penn State York, is dedicated to promoting breast cancer awareness and hopes the "Pink Out" on Oct. 20, 2022, will be a huge success.

Hundreds of women attended the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia on Oct. 6. Each attendee was emailed a print-off of their names and a specialized QR code with their contact information embedded in it for the speed-networking portion of the conference. The Penn State York group included, left to right, Scott Simonds, director of student affairs; and students Abigail Snyder, Sweeta Rasiyan, Xiomara Larkin, Caitlan Hevener, and Brynn MacDonald.

Abigail Snyder took a moment to color on the coloring wall at the Pennsylvania Conference for Women.. “Reset, Reconnect, Renew” was on the front side of the wall, and “Relax. Take a Breath” was on the back.

Xiomara Larkin, Sweeta Rasiyan, Abigail Snyder, and Caitlan Hevener, left to right, show off the pink journals provided by the Women's Philanthropic Network (WPN) as a gift to take along to the 2022 Pennsylvania Conference for Women in Philadelphia on Oct. 6.  "Empowered Women Empower Women," is the phrase printed on the cover of the journals.  The WPN provided funding for five students and a chaperone to attend.

Penn State York is bringing back its drive-in outdoor movie for the first time since the pandemic. As is pictured here from a previous year, the parking lot behind the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center (The Pullo Center) on campus will be transformed into a drive-in movie venue with a huge inflatable big screen.  Moviegoers can stay in their cars or bring chairs and blankets to sit outside and enjoy "Top Gun Maverick" beginning at 7:15 p.m.

In 2019, Penn State police officers hosted in-person events for National Coffee with a Cop Day at campuses across Pennsylvania. This year, University Police will host a virtual event in order to safely stay engaged with the Penn State community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
