Penn State’s NSF I-Corps program seeks applications by Sept. 15 and Oct. 15

The National Science Foundation has joined in supporting Penn State’s goal of taking more of its discoveries to market by awarding Penn State a five-year, $500,000 Innovation Corps (I-Corps) grant to establish the Invent Penn State I-Corps Site in collaboration with Ben Franklin Technology Partner’s TechCelerator, Happy Valley LaunchBox, and Invent Penn State’s Innovation Hubs.

York Alternative Spring Break 2017

York students head to Puerto Rico for alternative spring break

When Magdalen Matthews, a communication arts and sciences major at Penn State York, returned from the alternative spring break trip to the Bahamas last year, she was determined to seek more international service opportunities for students to put their spring break to good use.

Face.Age: A Multimedia Installation by Andy Belser

Face.Age is a multimedia installation created from guided cross-generational encounters documented through digital recordings. The installation places audiences within a synchronized, three-screen surround where younger (18-22) and older (70+) participants can be seen studying, describing, and touching one another’s faces.
