Penn State York’s men’s baseball team had to win against Penn State Worthington Scranton in order to advance to the playoffs in the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC). The team needed to win one of two games in a doubleheader on April 26. Not only did they win one, York swept the doubleheader and clinched the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Division of the PSUAC.

This is the fourth year that Penn State York's baseball team has played a doubleheader in the ballpark that is home to the York Revolution, PeoplesBank Park. Again this year, York takes on Penn State Mont Alto.

Parrish Petry has been Penn State York's head men's basketball coach since the 2008-09 season. His teams have captured three PSUAC championship titles, 2013, 2014, and 2015, and are recognized throughout the conference for their competitive play on the court.
