Penn State York to honor outstanding students, faculty and staff on April 23

YORK, Pa. — Penn State York will honor the academic achievements and service of its outstanding students, faculty and staff for the 2016-17 year at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, during the 46th annual Academic Awards Ceremony. The event will take place at Heritage Hills Golf Resort, 2700 Mt. Rose Ave., York, Pennsylvania. More than 80 academic and service awards will be presented during the program.

Awards will be presented by a variety of campus groups and several community organizations including the Rotary Club. Highlights of the program include the presentation of the Eric A. and Josephine S. Walker Award, the James H. Burness Awards for Excellence in Teaching, the Penn State York Advising Award, and the Faculty Scholarship and Creative Accomplishments Award.
