Each year, students demonstrate excellence in information literacy through Penn State York's Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Accomplishments. This year, the library selected five winning projects, out of twenty.
Penn State York students Olivia Miles and Abby Snyder traveled to Italy in November 2023 through a study abroad opportunity with a human development and family studies course.
Juan Gil, professor of mathematics at Penn State Altoona; Sonia Molloy, associate professor of human development and family studies at Penn State York; and Jacqueline O’Connor, professor of mechanical engineering in the College of Engineering, have received the Alumni/Student Award for Excellence in Teaching and have been named 2024 Penn State Teaching Fellows.
The Penn State York SCROUNGE Earth Day event, set for noon on Monday, April 22, offers the public a chance to donate unwanted electronics and learn about recycling.
The Penn State Alumni Association and President Neeli Bendapudi will host a pre-concert reception from 6-7 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, at the Pullo Center at Penn State York. Alumni and friends can enjoy hors d'oeuvres and socialize with fellow Penn Staters. The concert will feature Centre Dimensions, the Penn State Glee Club, and the Percussion Ensemble and is set to begin at 7:30 p.m.
Students and alumni of the past five years are invited to a career networking event, scheduled to take place at noon on March 21 at the Pullo Family Performing Arts Center on the Penn State York campus.
