The bachelor of science in Science degree can help prepare students for various careers in pharmaceutical, biotechnical, chemical, medical, veterinary, environmental, and agricultural industies as well as prepare students for graduate school, medical school, dental school, or veterinary school.
Internships
Penn State York works in partnership with the local business and industrial community to identify internship partnership opportunities in science-related areas for students in the bachelor of science in Science program. Many of the students who have gone through the science program have earned academic credit for the internships in which they participated. While internships are not a required component of the curriculum, students are strongly encouraged to take advantage of such opportunities as they present themselves.
